In a world of growing uncertainties, one question is becoming more prevalent in society’s mind: How can we protect ourselves? Many answer this question with the second Amendment, our right to bear arms. However, many people find that just purchasing an arm is enough and neglect the proper training that makes the second amendment useful. Firearm training ensures that what you bought for protection doesn’t become a liability. With shooting simulators such as the iShooter, a necessary firearm training, an understanding of the firearm is attained that provides protection and retains many advantages.

What is a firearm in an untrained person’s hand? A death sentence. The whole reason we have the second Amendment is to protect our first Amendment. Many people think solely of the present protection; however, protection comes in many forms. In the present, it is a tool used to protect your home, your family, your livelihood, your neighborhood, your everything. However, in the future it could be used to defend your rights as it provides an armed country, a protected country–both from foreign threats and the possibility of something within. That being said, the second Amendment is dependent on the fact that we are trained. In a split second you need to be able to be confident enough to open your safety box, have your firearm in hand, and direct to the threat without a nervous shake in your arm. Simulators allow you to turn this into muscle memory because they provide safe practice, as the dry fire principle is at the core of any simulator.

There are many advantages to a simulator with firearms, especially with the iShooter itself. From your home, you are able to practice shooting and receive your results with time, accuracy, and more, almost instantaneously. Additionally, with it being a simulation, there is no cost for things like ammunition targets, wires, projections, and more. Continually, the updates being provided showcases how simulations for firearms provide savings that can’t be replicated otherwise. By utilizing this simulation, we citizens can practice repetition from the safety and comfort of our own home. Repetition is key as you never know when it will be tested. While it can be used purposely for hunting, many find themselves having to use their firearm skills under duress protecting those they love. As such firearm training goes beyond surface level, and instead reaches a psychological level for it also trains the mind.

The mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on how you train it, especially when people will depend on your aptitude to provide security. A simulation allows you to train in your own home which allows you to develop the necessary skills to stay calm even when you are anything but. It provides a unique level of preparedness that something from the range couldn’t provide you with. Knowing the environment you are in is something that the simulator provides as you can move it to wherever suits your needs. Your needs are better met with a simulator and will keep you, your community, and your society safer. Whether it be psychological or otherwise, the iShooter, a firearm simulator, provides the necessary training for a firearm.

A simulator can help with the uncertainties of life as it provides necessary training of a firearm. The iShooter provides both present and future advantages that can be proven to help physically, psychologically, and more. We as a society are more prepared and can be the defining factor of life or death for you, your family, your neighborhood, and even your society. So, when given the choice, would you be proactive for your life, because I would.
